The center of Supetar is dominated by a complex that includes a parish church, church tower, Leroj clock tower, church museum, and a building for an elementary school. The Republic of Croatia has included all the structures that make up this extremely unique complex to its list of protected cultural properties. On the ancient basilica's foundation, the parish church was erected in 1604. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style and given its current look in 1733 after being burned down once more in 1729.
